Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
We have been practicing sustainable tourism for longer than the term has existed because, quite simply, it's the only thing we know!
Our divers tell us that Kaş is the cleanest diving destination in the Mediterranean. The visibility of the underwater seascape has to be experienced to be believed. Our divers are told not to touch any aquatic life nor the sea floor. Also, we do not anchor our boats thus preserving the natural habitat located on the sea floor.
By attracting clients to this type of activity, we are cutting down on the pollution that traditional tourism brings. We also buy local produce and employ local people. We're looking forward to getting our varied and specialised activities out to a bigger audience without having to go through a wholesaler who doesn't understand the specifics of our sector.
